ATHLETE INFORMATION

Introducing the inaugural annual All American Challenge and Training Camp. This 4 day pre-season event aligns us with other respected sporting leagues and is an event our serious and aspiring athletes will not want to miss.

Attendees may register for the full 4‑day program, which includes the Training Camp and limited competition runs; the standalone 2‑day Training Camp; or the final two days of category‑only competition. NOTE: category runs are limited to one (1) run per category since the primary purpose of this event is training.

The event includes our standard category competition races with several rigorous instructional and assessment programs throughout the day and in the evenings led by expert instructors to help increase your strength, endurance, skills, teamwork, communication, and confidence. It’s a terrific opportunity for athletes to train together and fine-tune their skills in preparation for the season. This event will serve as a U.S. National qualifying event.

Labeled by ESPN as ‘the toughest two minutes in sports’, this event is open to any firefighter that meets the following criteria:

  • career or volunteer firefighters (active or retired) ages 18+ that are employed by and/or are voluntary members of an organized fire department (i.e.: township, municipal, district, county, state, country, military, or industry)
  • licensed firefighters seeking employment
  • cadets
  • junior firefighters/explorers (ages 14-21)
  • accredited governmental or educational agencies with a fire service curriculum
Whether an amateur or pro in our sport, we have a place for you!

This event is open to any firefighter from around the world. Athletes will walk away with:

  • Improved strength, speed, technique, and endurance on the course.
  • Techniques that help athletes develop mental toughness and resilience, and to cope with stress and adversity during competition.
  • Improved teamwork, working together as a team to achieve a common goal of trusting and relying on each other.
  • Enhanced motivation and focus to achieve their goals by pushing themselves to new limits to achieve their full potential.

Our Guide to the Challenge provides you with a comprehensive overview and understanding of our competition series, including all rules, regulations, awards, records, schedule, and more. Everything you need to know all in one document! We recommend you read this from beginning to end so you are fully prepared to take the Challenge.
