Our event sponsors recognize the positive brand awareness their support provides by aligning their brand with our firefighter athletes. It’s more than a sponsorship but a tribute, and this cause-related marketing and support does not go unnoticed by consumers or the fire service.

PRODUCT DONATIONS
We are always in need of swag bag items, prizes, snacks and beverages, course supplies, and more! We have a place waiting for you to integrate your product and brand into our events.
SPONSOR A FIREFIGHTER
A 2022 national survey showed the number one barrier preventing most firefighters from competing in our sport is the lack of funding to support their travel to and from the events. It’s no secret that firefighters are underpaid, so we launched our athlete sponsorship program in 2024 to remove this barrier.
Your tax-deductible contribution will help provide local firefighters in your community with a discounted or complimentary hotel room at our host hotel, reimbursement for some or all airline ticket costs, fuel reimbursement, and will help cover their registration fees. VOLUNTEER
We love volunteers because it’s the greatest compliment in the world when someone raises their hand wanting to serve our heroes. The Challenge offers several volunteer opportunities to choose from:
Course Reset Crew:
This is the most important role on the course, and literally places you in the center of it all! These volunteer crew members resetting the course in between competition runs helps keep the event day schedule on time. Our athletes and spectators truly appreciate it.
These positions are only open to able-bodied individuals, aged 13 and above. Only individuals that are physically prepared to assume these roles should apply. All duties are repetitive, meaning performed 50+ per times a day, and require upper body, arm, and lower back strength. This volunteer opportunity is not recommended for those who are pregnant, with heart conditions, with serious back problems, with fear of heights, or have other health problems.
Event Hospitality Crew:
These positions are open to able-bodied individuals, aged 13 and above. Crew members assist with managing our refreshment area, warm-up station, water stations, air mask cleaning, and other critical duties that help provide our firefighters with the ultimate experience of hospitality and professionalism.

HOST AN EVENT
Bring the excitement to your community by hosting one of our competition events. Annually we accept proposals from interested cities and organizations inviting us to select them for a future event.
We seek cities and/or hosting agencies for the following events each season:
- Season Opener (can be located anywhere in the U.S.)
- West Region Classic (in a designated state for this region)
- Midwest Region Classic (in a designated state for this region)
- Southwest Region Classic (in a designated state for this region)
- Northeast Region Classic (in a designated state for this region)
- Southeast Region Classic (in a designated state for this region)
- U.S. National Championship (anywhere in the U.S.)
- World Championship (in a U.S. state where 70+ degree daytime temps are normal for the end of October)

OUR HOSTING PARTNERS PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Complimentary use of a flat/level paved surface that meets our 125’ x 225’ space need for the course.
- All necessary permits and licenses to conduct an event.
- Portable bleachers, porta potties, and trash containers at the event site.
- Overnight security at the event site.
- Partnership with the local Fire Department to provide onsite EMS and air cylinder refill support on competition days.
- Use of a generator to provide power on course.
- Daily volunteers that reset our course in-between competition runs.
- Twelve (12) complimentary hotel rooms for the event crew.
- A $25,000 cash gift that is matched 5x by national sponsors to cover all event related expenses.
Preferred host and event sites are conveniently located 45 minutes or less from a major airport.
