About the Data
The TFT® Firefighter Challenge Championship Series originated in the early 1990’s operating as the SCOTT® and later 3M™ Scott™ Fire & Safety Firefighter Combat Challenge. Throughout its history the previous operators maintained the results data from each event on spreadsheets and/or in a database with limited data capturing. In 2022, our nonprofit organization took over the Series and did our best to retrieve the ‘old data’. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee we have it nor its accuracy.
Below are the records we have available. Currently we have a permanent searchable database being developed which will house what records we have received and located, making it easier for athletes and/or friends and family members to locate specific historical data. We hope to launch this by the end of 2025.
A special thank you to retired FCL member, Jimmy Johnson, and timing specialist, Greg Murphy, for their tireless efforts in helping procure the old data.
